Do you drink your tap water?

Only when I'm desperate. Drinking tap water causes the back of my throat to feel all dried up after a short period of time. Must be the extra minerals they give us around here.

It's pretty good near Boston, although not as good as NYC or northern Michigan.

It is better for the environment, of course. No discarded bottles.
There was a recent story about hormones being in our tap water here in Philadelphia b/c the filtration plant cannot (or will not) filter it out of urine. I figure a few extra hormones here and there won't hurt me. They call it "Schuylkill Punch" and it has a distinct flavor. I found that NYC water is less flavorful. I live two blocks from our water filtration plant and the grassy lot that surrounds it is used as a dog park.

I like it.

I use a Brita filter. Not sure how much it actually helps, but my throat doesn't feel dry after drinking filtered water.

We have a Brita in the house, but I rarely use it, myself. Kind of a pain ********** and water filtered through the Brita tastes kinda off. I was surprised at the high quality of NYC tap water, not sure that was clear in my last post.

Chicago has some of the best tasting tap water in the world, why on earth would I get bottled?

Hetch Hetchy Reservoir, represent!

Our tap water beats many bottled brands in taste tests! Love the stuff!

I drink from the tap at home with no reservations.

At work, our tap water tastes awful, so I drink from the cooler. No one I know at the office drinks office tap water, even the hard core environmentalists. Not really sure what it is, as I think it's the same water as at home.

I guess that's a qualified "yes" vote.

Sure do. Drinking some now, actually.

At my (soon-to-be former) job, I try to avoid it if at all possible. The faucet's kinda dirty and my old boss warned me quite sharply not to drink it.

I'd be dead without it.

Tap water builds character.

Atlanta. I drink tap water, but I strongly prefer it through the Brita.
I really like Publix branded spring water, though I'm told that the taste is from the plastic in the bottle.
