Just curious as to whether any of you had found this site on the interwebs. A forum associated with a supplement store, it seems to be a gathering place for bodybuilders in general, and supplement enthusiasts in particular.
I was thinking of starting an ECA stack, so I figured poking around might give some insight into the effiacy of different products. It's interesting sorting legitimate-seeming product reviews from shills from "I bought it and I don't want to feel bad about my purchase so I'll endorse it," but if you do your sifting there's probably more on supplements at this site than anywhere else on the interwebs.
In particular, two products piqued my interest:
Reset AD, which supposedy combats adrenal fatigue (ie high caffiene tolerance and elongated stress responses)
1,3-dimethylamylamine, supposedly a new sort of "upper" that solves a lot of the heart and jitter problems of ephedra.
I'm normally pretty damn skeptical of products that claim to do things they don't have an FDA-approved use for, and also pretty skeptical of anecdotal experience from the interwebs, but there's enough positive sentiment on the boards about these products that I'm thinking of giving them a go (maybe figuring out a way to do a blind test of the dimethylamylamine compared to caffiene). Just curious about whether anyone here has either tried these things, or thought about it? Did they change your life? Were they a total waste of money?
