Let's talk men jeans

I'm not into emo.

I'm african american, 6'1", and 160lbs, and I'm trying to find jeans that aren't skin tight, but that fit well. I have been doing the baggy/loose thing for years, but now I'm in an office where everyone dresses in trendy jeans/buttondowns, and I don't feel like sticking out.

I thought it would be as easy as going to the store, and buying some 7FAM and some Express shirts, but it turned out to not be that easy. The Express medium (my size) fits perfectly, but the sleeves are too short, and the 7FAM are tight, but a bit too tight: they really accentuate how skinny I am.

So, any recommendations for jeans that fit well, but aren't so tight that I look emo, or that I look like my testicles are screaming for dear life, or that I look like I'm the scrawniest man in babylon?

I like jeans that fit well, but I hate when they get very tight.

I also lack any form of a butt, so jeans that are really tight just point that out to everyone (the opposite of what I thought would happen).

Advice?

Self-edge. Just do it. Kiya will be MORE than helpful...you'll get down to earth advice and totally hooked up.

And you'll get to spend some time in the Mission, which is always fun.

The jeans on this site are anti-emo to be sure. I have difficulty imagining an emo requiring jeans in a 56" waist.

Also, this is the Platonic ideal of Mom jeans:
