Cheap gift for a girl

I'm seeing a girl that lives overseas and have two friends who are going to visit her country in two weeks and will be in the same town she is in.

I would like to pick up a small gift for them to drop off to her from me but am having a hard time finding something. I will be visiting her soon so I am not interested in getting her anything really nice right now, just a small gift. Not only small in price, but also small in size b/c I'm going to have to ask a friend to carry it in their bag for me.

I've been thinking for a while and cannot think of anything I could get. If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

It would also be nice if it was something that had polka dots on it (she loves them).

Hand write her a letter to be delivered via friend. Just dont tell her its coming.

That's a really good idea. I will send one along with the gift, thanks.

I email her and talk on the phone but I guess you can't beat a handwritten letter.

an unusual perfum (go to basenotes for help) it is personal and she can enjoy it in your absence.

I'm in the US and shes in India. She's not an expat and has lived there her entire life. The only thing I can think of that she liked over here was kool-aid... probably not the best gift.
