Stovetop espresso maker recommendations?

Looking to buy a stovetop espresso maker as a gift. I know there are lots of cheap aluminum ones around but does anyone have a recommendation for something special in terms of design and quality?

First of all, if it's stove top, it doesn't make espresso. Espresso is made under pressure. Second, the Bialettis are the originals, although many Italians will tell you that they're overpriced--that you're paying for the brand, not for any different in coffee. Third, there are now some with a larger top half than bottom. This allows you to put milk in the top and water and coffee grounds in the bottom. The milk gets heated while the coffee is made, resulting in a rough approximation of an instant cappuccino. This is useful, since otherwise pouring milk into a cup of coffee made in a Moka can result in cold coffee. I haven't used this type of moka; all of mine are the traditional sort. But since I used to regularly make a coffee in the moka, pour it into a cup and then pour my milk into the top to warm it a bit before adding that to the cup, this strikes me as a useful feature. I'd look for one of those.
