Plastic Surgeon

How would I go about finding a good plastic surgeon in any given area?
I live in Orlando. I really don't know where to start.

Dare I ask what you are seeking one for?

If you need some type of reconstructive surgery, I would recommend talking to your GP.. he/she can probably point you in the right direction.

If you want breasts, most likely the surgeon with the biggest ad in the Yellow pages is your best bet....

No problem. I had a rhinoplasty/chin augmentation done in 8 yrs back which came out great but I still think my chin still needs some projection.

Why not start with a web search? At least it'll provide a listing for your area.

I woulds start with all governing boards and licensing agencies - AMA, board certified plastic surgeons, BBB, also ask the doctor who did your work originally if not in the area - if they could recommend a Dr. where you are now, also I would do a search for a nurse association that works with Plastic surgeons and reach out to them as they are the ones who have to work with the Dr's on a daily basis and they should be a honest and realistic voice in the process - good luck and make sure you have a comfort level and check on all the Dr's accreditations licenses and certifications to make sure they are valid up to date, in full force and effect , and also if there have ever been any malpractice charges present. AND MAKE SURE YOU ARE COMFORTABLE WITH THE CHOICE - not saying you need to be overwhelmed, but there should be a certain level of humanity involved and not just bam in and out!

Let me see it. I want to see it.

Also, there are websites where patients discuss cosmetic surgery. There might be comments about specific doctors.

Possible to go back to the one who performed the original surgery?

If you had an implant rather than orthognathic surgery, it is not uncommon to need revisional surgery as the bone tends to atrophy causing the loss of projection. It should just be a simple case of putting a bigger implant in.
