Help me find a chandelier

Looking for a chandelier (or suspended lamp) that would fit well in a New York loft apartment. There are original wood pillars in the apartment so it has a bit of a rustic feel. Trying to balance it with some modern elements that wouldn't clash too much.

Here is a chandelier that we loved when we saw it in person and would be a good balance of rustic (iron frame) and modern. Problem is that the price is well into 5 digit territory so that's not gonna work!

Do you guys with experience decorating your homes have some recommendations of lamps with similar feel, or stores/brands I could look up online?

Edit: and here is an example of things we DON'T like at all:

This is my favorite, but may not be what you are looking for. It runs $10k more or less. We have this, and while it is interesting, I don't like it as much as I thought I would: The ultimate, but well over 100k:

GD,

I dont want to always answer with "get on a plane" - but if you can get to the czech replublic, you can get fantastic stuff like this at a fraction of the price you would pay in NY.

Thanks Matt - I like the first one very much but I don't think would fit well in that apartment. I would see it in a more modern loft or a duplex/house with a big atrium.

Second one is certainly unique - don't think I've ever seen anything like this.

I wish I had the time and leisure to do that. I would also go to Indonesia or Thailand and have custom furniture made, to HK and have a few suits and shirts made... Unfortunately, I'd like to stick to things that I can buy from here and maybe have shipped from somewhere else...

I love the Droog 85 lamps but maybe a little too modern... Not sure it would tie the modern furniture with the more rustic background... Great recommendation though

To me it's like the Starck Louis chairs. Take something old, do it up new. I can't imagine the chair or the light somewhere that was entirely modern. To me they always look nicer mixed in with more traditional items. Good luck.

I live near a La Murrina store and really like their stuff (not very cheap, however):

There is a company called Maria Theresa that makes classic chandeliers, many of them at reasonable prices.

This may not have enough "presence" for your space, but I quite like the Cellula chandelier:

It comes in a few different sizes (lengths).

Personally, I think that a traditional classic chandelier would make an elegant contrast of sorts to a modern or rustic interior.

If everything is modern, it looks a bit Interior Design magazine.

First one is very cool. I don't know what you were thinking with the second one.
The third one is cool, if you have the space. All of this is moot since they are all over 10k.

I tend to agree with that but the apartment has brick walls and 1920's wood and steel columns and beams - so the background is hardly modern, hence my desire to balance it.

That last one is worth $10,000.

A sort of warehouse feel then? I think a traditional chandelier might look good in that context.

10 or 100? You and Matt seem to have different sources...
