another vote for Common Projects. simple style, good shape, and a lot nicer than the average sneaker.

I've never owned a pair of hightops. How does it change the way the jeans sit on them compared to low?

I'm thinking some AF 1 highs or Dunks. Just price wise that's what I came up with. Any opinions??

chucks are the best. for Lanvins i prefer the shape, subtlety and design of the low tops, the high tops are too affected...i've yet to see someone look good in those, even though the shoe may look good on its own. IMO the point of dressing well is to attract attention to the wearer himself rather than to the item of clothing, but the Lanvin his drown all that out and all i can focus on is the damn shoe.

I really liked the common projects that i bought but were too big for me. For the brief time i had them i was impressed.

I like everything about double identity except the long toe thing they got going on. That's not with all their shoes though, right?

agreed. they look marsupialed on. and this is coming from someone who has those ultra-hi dior wrestling boot jammies.

I politely disagree. I favour hi-top sneakers and love how the strapless Lanvin look, especially when doing the potentially ridiculous pant tuck. Most colourways are indeed, way too flashy but the all black ones are perfect IMHO. What did you think of their use in the last outfit I posted (see WAYWT thread)?
