i wear those with boat shoes, or vans slip-ons in the summer. before i found out about them my feet used to get drenched in sweat after a summer day in slip-ons or boat shoes with no socks. extremely gross, don't recommend this route at all.

depends on the shoe i'd say. now that there's newer, less preppy styles by brands like vans, visvim, and clae, it shouldn't be a problem to integrate this particular accessory into one's wardrobe.

I've got these and I can attest to their quality and comfort, and they are also timeless and classic. They look great with raw denim, but in the brown color, not the cactus. These have become my everyday beater shoes and once they wear out I'll definitely replace them with another pair as they are some of my favorite shoes.

Definitely better with a more relaxed jean and no socks. I can't imagine wearing them with anything smaller than a 17in leg opening. JMHO.

socks, depending on the length of jeans, and don't go for light coloured socks!!! Yeah, I also agree those half socks work too

Any thoughts on which color would go well with dark denim but can also be worn with shorts? They're from Quoddy.

Also, I heard of some problems of delays when ordering directly from the company (as well as people getting the wrong size). Anyone have any experience with this? I'm not planning on a custom order so I'm trying to find an online retailer that may stock my size. I don't feel like waiting several months for my order and then risking getting the wrong size sent to me. Any recommendations?

my gf hated it, but I liked it on some 80s loafer vibe - Sporty old man steez.

I have the top pair pictured. The bottom color is cinnamon and is also nice, but the brown chromexecal (top pair) develops great character in color and leather. The cinnamon becomes too light for my taste.

Yes, Quoddy is backlogged. Remember, they are a small family operation and, now that the fashion industry has discovered them, cannot always keep up with demand. My boat shoes and my canoe mocs each took about three months to arrive, but have been well worth it.
