I am back home after my successful bilateral knee replacement. It has been a week and a half of time in the hospital and the rehab unit, but I am walking now (with a walker) with very little pain (partially thanks to quick healing, partially thanks to great painkillers) and hope to get my staples out on tuesday. My question is about the scars. after the staples are out, how long before the scars begin to fade and look like regular scars rather than frankenstein scars?
