I have to admit that I do really enjoy the cheap and greasy now and then. 99 cent "pointes" that you eat on the street and that leave the plate so oily you can see your hand through it.

I know it'll get me crushed by a giant milwuakee's best can or something, but i blot the grease off of pizza. I figure it might save my stomach a little bit from hating me and paying me back later.

WTF? How can anybody even discuss pizza in a thread mentioning Dominos and Pizza Hut. If you want shitty commercial pizza, at least go for Round Table. As for real pizza: [/thread]

As for real pizza:

pizza with boccocini and basil is divine. That pizza doesn't have nearly enough basil on it though.

Just a little for bouquet. It is not a salad. I think it is just cut up mozzarella.

Giordanos in Chicago. Since don't live in Chicago, I only eat it about once every 3-4 years.

Minnesota is home to a hip/punk chain called Pizza Luce.

Their best pizza - The Wrangler - is BBQ Chicken, red onions, banana peppers, red sauce, and cheese.

..so good...

Modern Pizza, New Haven, CT
Sally's and Pepe's, New Haven, CT
Little Rendezvouz, Meriden, CT

My favorite last year and 20 years ago and still my favorite today.

Just talked to a kid that came from Italy and there is a place he loves called Steve's Pizza in North Miami, FL of all places. Says it's very authentic and simple. In fact he drove down there just for the pizza. I haven't tried it but I'll have to when I have a chance.
