60-70% of Italian men wear brown shoes? What?? It's more like 90% I don't think I've seen a black shoe in Italy, well except for the tourists I guess.
You're probably right, Mike. They probably WERE tourists (although tourists don't typically wear dress shoes). Let's assume they were there on business travel I'll go with 70-80%, perhaps, but not 90. Yeah, LAGuy, you're da man. We should all just listen to you going forward. You can be my sartorial muse. Re: orange. I've always thought it was kewl since I heard it was Sinatra's favorite color. But most shades of orange don't go well with my skintone (or any of the other 70% of "cool" palettes in the world). Chuck wears warm, autumn tones beautifully though. It's a silly, silly thing, but since we've convinced the little one that all schools whose teams wear orange (Texas, OSU, Tennessee, Miami, etc) are bad . . . well, you can imagine the response it would get around here. Re: cords. Yup I've seen some "kids", the retro devotees of "That 70s Show" wear them from time to time, but haven't seen anyone I know or hang around with seriously wear it. Then again, maybe I just don't know anyone who's hip and groovy.. Re: country look. For the 'American/Traditional' fans here, this look has never gone entirely OUT of style. However, I have seen it working its way back in for a couple of years, and into the mainstream just this season.
