That said, the usual strategy is simply to smile and not say anything remotely confrontational. The irrational behavior will eventually subside and there is no point (or even any hope) of attempting to understand or correcting it. That's what makes women who they are and you just have to accept them the way they are, after all, you're not perfect either. Oh, and strip clubs are fine any time of the month. Just don't come too drunk or smelling of p*ssy.
Wow - this thread has probably received more response than anything I've ever posted - thanks guys! Yep - 2 pregnancies plus breastfeeding in our case as well means this is the first time that I have dealt with this in about 5 years myself

Obviously that's why it hit me with such surprise as I had forgotten just what a pain in the ass it is. Oh well, she'll get over it eventually and life will be back to normal. Oh well, I won't get out of the house tonight, but I'll live. P.S. If you guys can't go to strip clubs without getting caught, you need to come visit me in Phoenix and I'll give private lessons. And for those who seemed really concerned, we are not anywhere close to divorce. In fact, just celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary last week and have been together for 10 1/2.
