I may be wrong, but doesn't the "346" label identify the garment as having been sold from a BB outlet? Â I picked up a pair of linen pants a year or two ago at the outlet in Flemington (NJ) with the 346 label. Â They were, as best I was able to tell, identical to a pair being sold in the mall store at the same time. Tom
The 346 label was sold, at one time, as a sort of "entry-level" (to lapse into market-speak) type of garment for young people or business people who were just into their first job. I think someone here, perhaps Mr. Pollack or another equally well-versed, mentioned something about the history of the 346 line. Perhaps now it is used in outlets. I've been looking (but not buying) on Ebay, and if you want a good blazer, why not try there. I've seen a few of the older models of the Brooks blazer, and the quality is good and the price is certainly right.
