Fire away! Oops, forgot to say what mine is. Probably Darkness on the Edge of Town.

Nebraska. But Born to Run and The River are close behind. Conne, have you heard the live album from Hammersmith Odeon 1975? It's ridiculous. Best version of "Born to Run."

I've been meaning to DL that. I'll do so tonight. While we're on "great live versions", are you familiar with the "Adam Raised a Cain" from the Bruce and E Street Live: 1972-85 or whatever is? So badass.

I haven't heard that; that's from that three-disc box set, right?

The Hammersmith Odeon 1975 CD is among the best live performances ever captured, I think--at least from the ones I've heard. I would turn down the lights and crank it up loud and also put on some running shoes, because you'll feel the need to break out into a full-blown sprint several times during the album.

Yes yes yes, agree with this list exactly.

Probably my bias of it being my first Boss album but Born in the USA is my favorite.

Nebraska
Ghost of Tom Joad
Born in the USA
Born to Run

FWIW, his live, three disc set is the best live recording ever. Just amazing.

I need to mention how fucking badass "Adam Raised a Cain" is. I'm gonna try to see Bruce at Giants Stadium in July and if he plays this song I will die. http://youtube.com/watch?v=HWertakKIDE&feature=related

Oh I am. It's horrible...The E Street Band will never be the same.

Darkness
Nebraska
Born To Run

Saw him twice, so far, on the magic tour. Out of this world.

And he played Adam at the first show.

There is nothing, musically equivalent to me, then being in a huge stadium and hearing the entire crowd sing Born To Run or Thunder Road.
