I believe even at $150 price, these shirts are profitable. But if they can charge $500 and people are suckers for high price tags, why not?

Can Chinese manufacturers make high quality shirts comparable to top Italian brands? Probably. Can they sell shirts for $500 even if they make shirts 10x better than Borrelli/Kiton? Probably not, as long as they have to label their shirts "made in China".
