Wedding Ties - Page 6

FYI: for folks on a tight budget, several hours of web searching have turned up Jaan J. They're microfiber, but only $34. Appropriate wedding ties are scattered around the site, but they have glen plaid, houndstooth, and the elusive shepherd's check and macclesfield. I'll probably get them for my groomsmen.

is this tie too dark to be a wedding tie?

Can anyone recommend a good source for a wedding tie at or under $80? I have seen Kent Wang and that's about it.

This may not be orthodox, but I picked up this black/white gingham tie recently. Maybe it could work for a wedding:

Great! Thanks. How long does each tie take to make?

Currently orders are being made in about 2 weeks. To make a 3-fold tie takes about 2 hours and we will keep your pattern on file for future orders.

David, do your plans include a black and white shepherd's check or houndstooth? Like this shepherd's check:

Greekonomist, While I could not see the pattern very well in the photo I can give a strong yes as my answer. I personally like classic ties and we do well with traditional designs. Our long term goals are to have on hand all the basics in black and white as well as other colors. On hand means always not as seasonal offerings. If you can show me a close-up photo that will be very helpful. Disregarding the color here are some similar designs woven in English silk:

Thanks. Those houndstooths look great. Unfortunately I don't have a close up, but it seems to be a slightly larger-scale version of the Lands' End tie Parker posted above.

I would be interested in the answer to this question as well.
