Oh, you're a young 'un. I graduated in '95. Haven't been back since (not that it was bad, just no reason to return). Cheers to a fellow Gaucho!

Wawa use to advertise a breakfast sandwich as a Wawa Sizzlie. I wonder if that was a copyright violation.

I remember these from when I lived on the east coast in elementary school. I have good memories of them.

Yah I do miss the SB collegiate dining scene. Woodstock's, Silvergreen's, Freebird's, Elephant Bar, Sizzler.

Yes, I do. There was a Red Barn in Gaithersburg MD in the early 70's. Pre Metro.

Every time I drive by a Sizzler, it reminds me of hangover lunches following a HUGE party in college.

the one near me in El Segundo, CA is a "test kitchen". They have different buffett items like fresh baked muffins and other things. Pretty interesting. $10 for a burger and a salad bar buffett..pretty crazy. love cheese bread and the malibu chicken! their burgers actually aren't too bad. the chicken wings on the buffett..then the taco bar! good stuff. skip all that lame salad crap!

Consider me impressed. I only managed to down 90 shrimp during my shrimp fest extravaganza and that did me under.

I have fond memories of Sizzler. Of course, I was 6 last time I was at one so they are very vague and nothing beyond a warm feeling. Perhaps the cheesy toast and soft serve was enough for me.
