My next trip to Florence will involve a stop at Lorenzo Villoresi's shop for some custom cologne for me and perfume for my wife. http://www.basenotes.net/articles/lorenzo.html

Kai, good choice, I am definitely going to stop by Villoresi when I am next in Florence. My favorite night time scents are Piper and LV Vetiver now.

Quite right about the "no smoking" signs meaning nada. Koji, you are going to the Bargello right?  Make sure you don't miss the gallery around the courtyard, especially the bronze "fishing boy", it is astonishing.
Yes, the Bargello is my favorite musuem in the whole city, I'll probably skip the Uffizi this time around. koji

Strawberry risotto sounds very strange to an italian eye.
I think they means strawberry *gelato.* I'm pretty sure Vivoli dosen't serve risotto.

ROFL...... I was wondering about that but failed to make the connection - I'd bet on Gelato as well.

Well, they do have ice cream spaghetti in Italy. No, it's not pasta. They put ice cream through something like a potato ricer, and you end up with a disgusting pile of worms on your plate.

At least until they melt, at which point you have creme anglaise.

Kai, did I give you the contact details? If not, it is posted on the London Lounge.
