Hello, I know there is Vass in Budapest, as well as Koronya and Silver horse the boot maker. http://www.silverhorse.net.sc http://www.koronya.net http://www.vass-cipo.hu/ But what about the taylors, the shirt makers, the glove makers, umbrella makers, socks makers? All those little artisans? anybody has contacts? I searched the forum and the answers were: go to Vienna. Well i don't want to go to Vienna Because its very expensive and because out of curiosity i want to check the artisans of Budapest. Thanks in advance. M.

I would suggest Mr. Peter Mesterhazy a great shirt maker in Hungary, Budapest. He has a shop in Budapest downtown, offering nice selection of handmade shirts and suits (and my shoes as well actually) Address: Paulay Ede utca. 67. +36 70 282 0665

i think there are good and not so good artisans everywhere... where they come from is not so important some are good and cheap and some are so so and expensive. I am trying to find the best quality/price settlement...
