That's within normal ranges, especially depending on what was your current diet, stress level, activity, etc. Not sure who told you that was high.

A line of blow fixes mine pretty reliably.

Get yourself to a good nose doctor. I went through a period of frequent nosebleeds. Getting cauterized so often ended up burning a hole through my septum and a hemerage that required laser surgery to repair. I was in ICU for almost two weeks due to severe loss of blood. It was a near death experience. I later had to have skin grafts in my nose to heal it. See a doctor and lean forward not backward. It is dangerous. I needed 5 pints of blood in the ICU.

What is the correct procedure to stop a bloody nose when it first starts? maybe thats my problem

- I started taking a zinc supplement and my blood coagulates very fast, within seconds. I can blow my nose as much as I can to make it bleed and there's no need to lay down, as the blood will coagulate without help. Maybe I was zinc deficient.

- In the past I noticed that I'd get a bloody nose the morning after having sex. It must be a zinc connection again, since producing sperm uses up zinc from the body.

go to the doctor and get your nose capillaries cauterized. basically burns them and seals them off.

I'm trying to help. You, on the other hand have nothing to offer. As with all the threads on which you wrote, you just trolled, spammed and simply annoyed others.

What's your problem?

Bumping this thread up. I've had 3 bleeding noses in the last 3 days, all of them whilst in the shower. Don't have the flu or anything so i haven't been blowing my nose, haven't been hit there and haven't really been in the sun. Should i be worried ?

Ok first things first, when you have one, dont lean back. At work (work at the YMCA teachnig kids how to swim), they always tell our kids tat because people can choke on the blood.

there is proof of it. Best thing to do when you do have one is to lean forward, apply a cold wet paper towel to the top of the nose, to not pinch or touch where the nostrils are. Just let it work its course.

How long do your nose bleeds last for. If they last over 15 minutes and you say you get them often I would recommend checking out a doctor it could be a bleeding issue. I remember when I was young I used to go to bed, wake up and almost always have a nose bleed. Had to get it checked out at the hospital.

Also after you have one, dont blow your nose, or touch it for 24 hours. It taes a very long time for the nose to heal.

like i said, check it out at the doctors to be safe.

please have it checked, for those who bleed often in the nose, it may be a symptom of a more serious condition.
