This is a NWT Corneliani trend suit - I got it but it's too tight for me... chest: ~20.5" shoulders: ~18.5" sleeves: ~25.5" top to bottom: ~31.25" gray nailhead, 2 button front, one vent in the back, slant pockets... Looking for $390 shipped in the US...

Funny story...I'm in the middle of moving, and the kitchen light above the stove is the best lighting left in my house...!
Anyways...it's still a gorgeous piece

couple possibilities
while it is gray, which is a true staple, it is a SB peak lapel, which is trendy
Corneliani Trend (the diffusion label) retails for a bit less and has {what on this forum seems super-important} fused canvasing and minimal handwork
Finally, I've had a S170's mainline Corneliani up for 400 for a few weeks without much interest, showing that the forum is fickle
good luck

what makes this suit retail for $2200, which is twice what most Trend line suits retail for and more than most mainline Corneliani? It's certainly a nice fabric.

His imagination, that's what. Also, stir-fried suits usually cost more.
