Coke Zero

An amazing product. I've always loved Coke, but switched to Diet a few years ago. While I don't dislike the taste of Diet, Coke Zero is just so much better. It's amazing how similar it is to regular Coca Cola.

I'm sure you drinking Coke Zero is offsetting the 2lbs of bacon you eat a day.

Hell he's in college. If there's ever a time to gorge, it's in college.

That's what the Tai Chi is for.

i can't drink normal coke zero. Vanilla coke zero is pretty tasty though. What i've been doing at soda fountains instead of just diet coke is filling it 90-95% up with diet coke and then just a bit of root beer. The root beer flavor is so strong it dominates the entire flavor of the drink even though it's diet.

I love Coke Zero also.

Diet Coke has aspartame, or the stuff in the red package Sweet n' Low.
coke ZERO is Nutrasweet, the blue stuff.

Uh, not quite. Nutrasweet and aspartame are one in the same. Nutrasweet is a brand name while aspartame is the generic name. Sweet n' Low is saccharin.

I *think* zero uses sucralose, but i'm not sure.

Regardless, I can't stand the taste of any artificial sweetener.

My bad, you are correct in that Nutraswweet is aspartame. However, when I was drinking my coke zero it gave a warning about phenylketouria, so it is aspartame. sucrolose is the generic name of Splenda.

Neither Diet Coke or Coke Zero in cans and bottles currently use saccharine; both use aspartame. Diet Coke from a fountain does have saccharine, however, because something about aspartame makes it lose sweetness over time when it's just in the syrup form. Coca-Cola has also released a Diet Coke which includes sucralose (Splenda), but this isn't available everywhere. I think Coke Zero uses acesulfame potassium and cyclamate as additional sweeteners.

I don't like any of it.

That's fascinating. I had no idea that fountain diet coke was different from canned/bottled.

I can't say I detect much difference between Zero and Diet myself.

It has been proved that sacharine produces cancer

Aspartam has been also suspected but there is not yet enough evidence

Drink water and do some sports !

Cherry Zero is pretty good as well. I rarely drink any of them anymore so it's usually regular Coke when I do.

In laboratory animals. No evidence it causes it in humans.
