Yoox....the Final Price Cuts - Page 9

I've found them fairly sloppy about their attention to detail. Recently returned a "Zegna" sportcoat that was only Zegna cloth. Oddly, there was only one Zegna label -- inside the coat -- but there were several labels with the maker's name, including the one on the sleeve. It wasn't the first time I've received such botched orders, but they had to work extra hard for that one.

In terms of sizing, I understand they can't provide every measurement, but I'm only so sympathetic. If they can measure the trouser leg opening, they could figure out the proper waist size.

Doc, did they still charge you for the restocking fee or did they eat the costs??? I'm interested to know if anyone has managed to get them to waive the fees...

I notified them of the mistake, but they still charged me. Then they relisted the coat incorrectly -- again as a Zegna. I contacted them a second time and they took it down, but I was still out the $5.

I don't really sweat the $5, but it does add up over time, especially when the sizing is so erratic.

I see...i gather you didn't really get riled up over the charge then?

I requested they waive it, but they ignored me. I didn't bother with another phone call.

I see...normally, i wouldnt bother attempting for a refund, but if im going to be charged $5 for every pair of pants I bought, I'm not gonna feel too happy.

Shit that's a nice jacket. Not available to us canucks, however.

I wonder how the drawstring at the back looks. The idea seems a bit too fashionable.

Let us know what you think of it--it's still not sold out in my size....

Some long are in there. Just received a khaki cotton Tombolini suit, tagged 40/50 on the website. It's a 50L7. Measures 40L. And not really slim (18.5" shoulders, 42.75" chest, 40" waist, pants have 34" waist). I will return it.

Yeah I guess I'll wait on the fit. Also, what other points of quality should i look for in these coats? Do these items come canvassed and does that matter? Thanks.
