True Neapolitan for the American Market

Am I wrong in saying that you would be hard-pressed to find it in the US? Why is it that you do not see true "Neapolitan" RTW and MTM here in the states?

I've heard it's because the American market doesn't appreciate how a Neapolitan jacket looks, especially with the really soft shoulders and their pleating.
