I think I need a (second) resole soon.
(Last year.)

A Topy would have prevented that expense and helped your personal safety.

I never slip. You're right about the expense of course, but I like leather soles without a piece of rubber/plastic/whatever beneath it. It looks cheap smile.gif (come to think of it: could've been a Dutch invention...).

Topy doesn't look cheap. Topy looks like a man has brains.

Who else besides you is looking at the soles of your shoes?

from 5-10 feet away, A sole with good topy job is indistinguishable from a leather sole. This is assuming you walk upright

What about those of us who slither on our bellies like reptiles? biggrin.gif

Gentlemen,

Please stop this now. Each side of the Topy v leather argument has made its case in other threads.

The debate is closed and we should respectfully return to the purpose of this thread.

There is no point at all in reviving here the argumentation between people who wear proper leather-soled shoes and have sufficient coordination to stay upright in them, and those who disfigure fine shoes with glued on synthetic additions because they are pathetically unable to walk in a straight line without randomly fallng over every few seconds, to the intense embarassment of their state-registered carers. That sort of divisive prejudicial talk has no place on this thread. :-)
