To paraphrase Chaser, "I, and several other SF members, bought that McCallum model several years ago from Bluefly."

Those are great shoes--many of us already own them.

Is it really shell! It looks gorgeous. Is it a dark brown shell?

Thanks.

Great description.. I love the 89 for more "casual" shoes. I think it's perfect for monks, and I would love a pair of derbies on it.

All of the C&J for Polo brown shells (including the McCallum chukkas and the Marlow/Darlton wingtips, bluchers and loafers) are the same shade of dark brown shell. It's a great color.

What was the price of the shells on GVH? Keep missing these deals, unfortunately.

Any comments on the Sheldon monks in terms of last and sizing? I don't know what last it's on, so I just purchased it in my regular sz. US11. The 888 in sz. UK10.5/11U.S. fits quite well, and I'm wearing Mackays right now. Hopefully the Sheldon monks aren't much different.
