Cream on the face; cream on the nose?

This isnt a thread on where you like to place it on your girlfriend

im asking whether or not you rub cream into your nose as well as your face? I have found in the past that it just causes my noses to become greasy and my glasses slide down my face and the skin on my nose breaks out

what about you?

It' skin, it should be protected. Try using something non-oily/greasy.

Well, we keep a box of kleenex by the bed and she . . . oh wait.

I thought this thread had real potential til you ruined it with the first line.

But on a serious note, I've got a greasy T-zone. I use the regular Anthony Logistics face wash, then Baxter's Herbal Toner, and between those 2 my face gets dry, so when I use the Jack Black moisturizer, it doesn't over-moisturize, or make it greasy, it just gives it a nice matted look, while being moisturized. Maybe you're using too much? If I use too much, then yes my skin gets greasy. On the other hand, I don't have glasses, so I can't attest to anything about that.

If you have a problem with glasses sliding, moisturize before you go to bed. That's what I do. Glasses come off when I sleep obv, so by the time I'm up the moisturizer has done its thing and my frames don't slip on my nose.

Don't limit yourself to oil free. I have used oil free products that cause my face to become more greasy than using 100% apricot oil.

I like AL facewash, but it can be drying at times depending on the weather. Have you tried Baxters? It's the most gentle face wash I have ever used. I have Baxter, AL, and MenScience and use them according to how dry I feel.

Have you tried cutting the toner out of your regimin?

I've thought about it, but I'm pretty happy with my routine as it is. Like I said, the AL & toner make my face pretty dry, so when I moisturize it's just right. I think if I cut one of the two out, it'd be greasy like the OP's. I plan on messin around with some new products once my current bottles go down, I'll give Baxter's a try. Their other stuff I've used is perfect.

"cream on the nose" yeah that is a nasty problem, know what u mean.

well to look from phisiology side it could be a junk food or genetics.
if junk food you should change the food that u consume. eat healthier, less fat.

and if to try a solution from a cosmetical side, I`d suggest special face masks - they clean face pores + they reduce oiliness quite good. Don`t know what brands to suggest because european-us stuff differs, But I believe there are many analog stuff. Try face masks thats my opinion

The "Prefer-on" scar removal stick is actually pretty good for helping the sensitive area on the sides of the nose. It's not oily or greasy and it's quite affordable.

I`m interested, never heard of that stuff before. I suppose it is American thing?
How is it called exactly?
