High quality buttondown shirts?

Not the ones that get worn as part of a suit, but the ones that get worn with jeans and some decent shoes.

I'll be wearing these to work, and I'm not sure if I want to dress up, but with jeans, or dress in the typical frat buttondown+jeans way.

It will probably end up being that I "dress up," but wear jeans to tone things down a bit. This is a tech company, and I'm a recent college grad.

Right now I wear mostly express 1mx shirts, and guess jeans.

Advice, recommendations, and examples appreciated.

When I say high quality button down shirts, I mean like good brand, good quality material and fit (won't SHRINK when I wash it -- which is what happened with the Express premium shirts).

Also, any ideas for nice-fitting jeans that aren't "nut crunchers?" I have oversized testicles and an excessive bulge (hype that I just can't live up to, heh, but that's another story), so I need to be able to breathe.

PS: the last time I posted on here I was still in college. And its funny how much my "taste" has changed. I'm still no snob, but I think I might be heading in the right direction.

Said it once and said it again. BoO (Band Of Outsiders) are good quality, but of course don't justify the price. I like Obedient Sons myself. Band for buck I think are Jcrew shirts on sale.

I second Obedient Sons. I have 2 of the "Almost Gold" shirts and they are great.

If you want decently priced ones, I suggest Uniqlo.

Of coures, I don't think you can order from Uniqlo... so you'd have to live in NYC.

That's a question I want to ask actually, should I tuck my shirt in?

Alot of buttondown wearers at my job tuck their shirts in, and I'm not sure if I'd like to follow suit, or stick with the shirt hanging out.

What do you think?

I've never really had issues with shirts shrinking, cheap or expensive. How tight are you buying these things? They can't be shrinking THAT much can they?

As far as tucked or untucked, just try both and see what you prefer. I prefer to stay untucked, but I tend to tuck if I wear a blazer or something like that.

they make pretty good shirts

if your going to be tucking them in band of outsiders might not be the best route...

I may have missed this, but what's your price range? This makes a huge difference...

Let me know when you find some.

Btw I'm looking for a smart, attractive girl who is down to earth with a great personality and makes a lot of money.
