paypal transaction question

if i sent an echeck to a seller and now i want to cancel that echeck in order to send an instant payment, how does the seller go about canceling the echeck? the seller says they cant figure out how to do it, so does someone have instructions i can send them

The way I did it tonight was I refunded the echeck which will cancel the transaction if it hasn't cleared. If you read the help section of Paypal it tells you this.
