Oxxford info

I'm thinking about purchasing a used Oxxford (for Bergdorf) jacket, the model is Gibbons, two button.  It also says "Oxxford Ease" on the tag.  Can anyone comment? Here's a pic: The main thing I'm worried about is the button stance.  I can't tell from the pic, does it look like an ultra low gorge circa 1980?  Or is it somewhere in the middle and more classic?  I don't want something dated, and I can't discern the age.   Also, I don't want a sack suit, even though that's what Oxxford is known for. Even if this coat has no shape, I can always have a tailor take it in, right? Will that look strange? Thanks for reading.

I've posted a few pictures of Oxxford suits (current models). They haven't changed their models overly much over the years, other than the Crest line. Here are a few pics of Oxxford suits and what they look like, you can have them taken in a bit if necessary.

The suit appears to have the same gorge as the Oxxford I'm wearing today--it's not the 80s style (when the top button was waist high), but puts the button about 5" above my waist (I'm wearing a short). Not high gorge, not low gorge. Right in the conservative middle.

Thank you very much. I hope you're right. Conservative middle is exactly what I was shooting for. I won the auction last night, so I'll try posting pics when I get it tailored and cleaned.

I should have also said that the gorge on my suit jacket is pretty close to the ones shown by drizzt.
