Need Shoe Help

Thread Starter
I am looking for a new pair of shoes, as of right now I have only been buying Allen Edmonds(11 1/2 eee) and a few pairs of gucci loafers. Does anyone know of a brand that would compare to AE as far as width goes. Thank you in advance for your help

Bally makes E width shoes that are fairly nice, some English manufacturers have a G width also?

Check out Alden: in my (limited experience) they make higher quality shoes then AE does, and they have a few lasts in the EEE sizes. (i think the Barrie, Hamton, Aberdeen and one other last come in EEEs] BUT, the extra quality of Alden is offset by the difficulty in being able to find them in the wide sizes: almost no-one carries them. So you may be reduced to ordering (and then returning) shoes from the factory in the various lasts until you find the right fit. I add that even though AE often doesn't have the shape/material/color combination you wish, you can order it special for $100 extra. e.g. i just ordered up a 12EEE from them, in a different material than usually available for the shoe, AND I got to specify the sole (in this case I wanted a reverse welt, double sole that extends the sole edge). You can do this with any of their shoes. which is nice if you want something unique. They also let you do this and order a different size for each foot, I believe. Good luck.

The factory stocks the super-wide widths in a number of styles. Even if the retailer doesn't carry that width, he can order it from the factory. It shouldn't cost you anything extra.
