Looks good. I particularly like the fact that you left the top shirt button undone (not the collar buttons) for the pimp effect. Certainly not appropriate in a business casual environment, but the shirt seems to fit very well.

There seems to be a slight bunch of fabric between the blades. Does Rubinacci do that for more fleibility in the jacket?

Otherwise it is perfect. Love the fabrics. The shirt looks spot on.

Yes, the bunching is characteristic.

The jacket looks great from the front, but the back is a little troublesome,
is it just this one frame, or does it always have this effect?

Not always. When I push my shoulder back a bit, that's what happens.

Hey, the shirt looks great on you. The coat too.

One question. You are slim and the shirt works very well as a slim cut. But did you specifically ask for the 2 rear darts in the shirt or is that Matuozzo's default construction?

I'm also a bit surprised that you went with dual pleat Ambrosi slacks. Do you also have flat front Ambrosis or are they all pleated?

I did not ask for the darts; they were Anna's idea. I have a huge drop (38-inches to 29 inches), so maybe that has something to do with it.

All the pants I have from Ambrosi are double-pleated. They and Mariano seem to be in agreement that I should be wearing doulbe reverse-pleated pants. I have no idea why, but I have no objections either.

Very very nice. I love the patch pockets.

I'm not a fan of that particular tie with the outfit, but that's just me.

Is that two buttons on the sleeve? Are they functional?

As far as that fullness in the back, is it still there when you unbutton the jacket?

Coat looks good. It would be nice to see you and it moving.

You mean action shots or video? In the case of the former, we'll see. As for the latter--it's a big enough pain doing photographs.

I'm not opposed to the darts because the shirt fits well without the lower back area of the shirt pulling too tight into the small of your back (a typical effect of having darts). But I doubt they were necessary to achieve a fitted look. I think darts have to do with style as much as they do with function (if not more).

I have a small number of darted shirts. I asked the maker to make my next order slightly slimmer. He said he would. I assumed he was going to take them in at the side seams. Instead he darted them. I didn't even notice until I went to press one. I rather like them.

I'd be lying if I said I knew exactly why they're there. They don't seem to do any harm and my sentiment echoes Manton: I rather like them, anyway.
