I just got these shoes off yoox but am not sure about them:

I'd like to wear them jeans or casually with a slim suit. The construction on Costume National seems quite good to my eye.

Here is a similar shoe from MOMA:

The only thing I'm weary of is the uber pointy toe but I kind of like them.

Honestly, I'm not a huge fan. The toe profile is reminiscent of a women's high heel shoe and the pull tab on the heel looks out of place on a shoe like that. The second pair looks better to me, but still not a huge fan. Then again, I'm a newbie so what the hell do I know

I don't like them. If I need to blur the lines between casual and dress-I go understated not fashion forward. The pointiest shoes I have are some Jil Sanders and the toe is not nearly as pronounced as those. I still only wear them with formal attire, though mine is probably more fitted than what you would find in MC. Reading back, I think the relevance of this post will be decided by history but I am going to leave it. And I don't like the shoes.
