Thanks for all the input guys.

I think I'm just going to wear this (on non-rainy days) with a crack down the middle. Maybe, at some point in the future, I'll look into getting it repaired.

Maybe put some of the film usually used to protect phone/camera/etc LCD displays over the top (if you can cut it out to match exactly).

Thanks for the correction; didn't mean to spread bad info. I think what I read probably applied to a specific watch that was available with both mineral and sapphire crystals and not crystals in general. Now that you mention it, I remember reading about people replacing the crystals in their Seikos.
