Absolutely. I want to know too!

Also, how much of the patina is age and how much is from artificial antiquing?

Objectively, I guess all the scratches should make it ugly, but my eye is drawn to the marks in a pleasant way and the overall effect is really very beautiful.

One other thing - how high is the heel on those?

judging from the photo they are only a sample i'd guess in a 8c or 8d as most makers seem to think that this makes an elegant sized shoe.

i would imagine that all JLP store will have 3-4 smaples like these on disply like what we have here in HK

+1 the heel gives it a very nice line. Curse you Manton I just about got JLP bespoke out of my mind!

Is the signature displayed that way only found in their bespoke models or can you find it on their RTW offerings?

Do they offer demi-mesure or MTO or whatever Hermès decided to call it this time?

I don't know how old that shoe is. But it is old.

I also don't know if it's just a sample, or an actually worn shoe, but I expect the former.

The script is unique to bespoke, and I believe, unique to Paris bespoke.

My one pair:

Haha, then I own a pair of John Lobb Paris bespoke (not made for me).

Since I bought them on a whim and was never a big fan of their offerings I wasn't sure if the gold print you often see on their insoles was common to every RTW pair of if they possibly had some sort of MTO offerings with the written script I just posted.
