I'm going to be in miami for spring break. can anyone suggest some good restuarants that are pretty cheap. also, if anyone knows of any other cool spots to check out, museums, hot spots, etc. that aren't too expensive that'd be awesome. i want to get some good food and culture while im down there but i don't want to break the bank. thanks a bunch

Look up "Matsuri". It's one of the 5 highest zagat rated restaurants but also cheap and located in a strip mall next to a walgreens so it's not super crowded. I went there on my last trip to miami and it was fantastic. Great food and sushi.

Try Raffi's for a cuban press. I think it's down on Collins. I am sure that locals will have other opinions about better places, but of the places I ate when I was there last, it qualified as good and cheap.

I'm looking for a spring break locale as well. I was thinking Miami or Hawaii.

If you're in South Beach, check out Balans for the best breakfast / brunch.

Check out the Bayside MarketPlace.

A good portion of the day can be spent here: there are many shops, restaurants, live music, and a good view. You can walk around and just soak in the atmosphere while sipping on a mojito, or chill at a cuban restaurant, sip on some more mojitos and people watch. I highly recommend it.
