So I got these a couple weeks ago direct from Alden and they are just a little small for me. I do have another pair on order so my loss is your gain. Worn 10 times max. Creasing has developed but what are you gonna do. Color #8

300.00 + shipping or make an offer

How so? These sell for 562.00 from Alden. I'm selling for 475.00. Net difference 87.00 for practically new shoes that can't readily be had for a discount. Let me know how I will gain. It might make me feel better.

Well, your price is a bit off of retail. However, most new shells on ebay don't sell for more than $350. Your shoes have been worn approx. 10 times, discounting the value significantly. It's not a very popular size at that. I think the max you could expect from these is $300, but that's just my opinion. Good luck with the sale.

I feel your pain and I may be wrong (I hope you get your price) but for near new (10x worn) Alden shell longwings on ebay only rare shell cordovan colors such as whiskey and Ravello and Cigar fetch or exceed this price. It is however supply and demand plus timing that figure heavily in successsful sales such as these and hopefully someone wants your shoes. Your price is still a fair price imho, a steal is in the eye of the beholder.

Yeah, I'm generally not one to critique pricing, but it seemed steep to me as well.

Apologies if my price sounded way out of line. To me it sounded fair but I am not a reseller in real life. So what is a reasonable price? Mike

Bunch of jerks. Bust on him about the price, he lowers it, and no one steps up. mikesduc-- Not my size. Hope you sell them on eBay for a mint.
