Not impossible...monitor B&S, brooksbrothers sales, etc. Should be able to get something nice like BB Peal or discounted Aldens for ~200-250. It's better to spend the little extra. Stay away from J&M and Cole Haan. I understand the cost issues, but there's only so much you can do, and I say this as a fellow 2L.
