Unfortunately, the cheapest anejo tequilas start at about 30$ so I'll have to postpone it I think...or I'll just grab some reposado.

What I realized the other day is that all the time I've been using the 47%/94 proof Beefeater. I always bought it at the same place and always got the same bottle. Guess I have to grab a bottle of the regular 40%/80 proof Beefeater and reevaluate most gin cocktails. Nonetheless, I prefer the 94 proof Beefeater over 80 proof Tanqueray in most cocktails.

Finally got to pick up the bottles I've ordered in the past few weeks/months.

In the last couple of weeks...

Was up in Napa for a few days and certainly did not expect to buy any spirits, but came across this brandy aged 16-18 yrs from a now converted distillery, last of its kind <2000 bottled. Can't wait to try!

Don't know if the same was released last year, but I picked up this bottle just as it hit the shelves a few weeks ago.

No, the 20yr old sherry just hit the shelves. Unless your Costco has two releases which would be EXTREMELY unusual.

They released both this year.

That Tun Batch 3 is awesome btw.

Three cases of inexpensive, tasty daily drinkers and a case of some pretty tasty Champs. The Champs should last me until next fall as I just never get around to drinking it at home.

I believe most, if not all Costcos released both this Dec as new releases (I just didn't know whether this 15 was also released last yr). The 15 yr was not as widely available as the 20, in my experience.

Good to hear, ama. I saw the Batch 6 at Surdyk's but did not succumb. Later, found that my wife bought the Batch 3 as a gift. If Batch 3 is as good as you (and almost everyone else) say, I might pick up the 6 as well. It's less expensive than the 3, too.

I think that might be the first time they've done that. Too bad they didn't stock anything but the 20 down here.
