Caribbean Cask is good at around $50 if you can find it for that. It can go up to about $75 and it's not worth that in my opinion.

haven't tasted it yet. Waiting for a day when I feel like drinking a 140 proof version of Chartreuse. redface.gif Those days aren't so common for me.... it was on sale for like $14 so I figured I'd get it, I bought a bunch of wine and champagne yesterday while I was at the liquor store.

Just drop lots of ice in it and wait. tongue.gif

Anyway, I'll try it when I see it in a store. I can order it online, but if I ordered, I know I would order far too much along with it, so I pass on that. It's something like 10€ here. 100€/liter. Better be worth it!

What's on the screen behind the bottle--intentional joke?

I tasted the Elixir Vegetal not long ago....pretty awesome. It is not nearly, not nearly, as sweet, so it is not nearly as viscous either. At that proof it almost evaporates out of your mouth, leaving that intense herbiness they are famous for.

Well... yeah.. I told myself to not buy too much liquor in the next few months... but, you know, some of it was on sale, so I had to take it! rolleyes.gif

The brandy was really good at Le Lion.

Laphroiag 3x 0.33l for 51€. Very good deal, normally the big bottles are 40-50€/liter. Good way to try the Laphroiag lineup.

How is the Nonino? I'm hoping to pick up a bottle tomorrow.
I'm actually having a sip of it right now. It is pretty good. A little less sweet than Ramazotti and a more complex flavor. Maybe you can get the small bottle, it looks really cute and the price/liter isn't much higher than the big bottle.

Someone in this thread once asked about Campari alternatives for the Negroni -- I know AC is a big fan of Gran Classico, which I have never tried. Using Luxardo Bitter was suggested to me as sublime, and it almost is, except for the minty-menthol thing it has going on. Its the very same thing I can't deal with in Fernet. So, I don't enjoy it, but you might.
