Also, Rollercoaster.

Nice!

The Great Divide Claymore Scotch Ale. My favorite from a microbrew tasting today.

Started my vacation today and while I have a bit of work to get done during the next 5 days I knew I had to kick it off right. Talked with the owner of my local specialty store (wine, cheese, beer) for over and hour, managed to get a few very limited beers, managed to snag myself a spot at a tasting that will include the worlds 3rd strongest beer (TNP) and the newest strongest beer in the world (sink the bismark). Some of the beers are for other people (3 for a lady friend and 3 for my ladies dad) R to L: allagash - black ommegang - BPA (one of six that he was able to get) flying dog - dog schwarz (one of ten that he got) dfh - black and blue x2 (for a lady friend) the bruery - mischief (for the ladies dad) coney island - human blockhead (for the ladies dad) chatoe rogue - single malt (first shipment into hampton roads) southern tier - choklat stout (for a lady friend) brewdog - paradox macallen brewdog - paradox isle of arran bells - double cream x2 williamsburg aleworks - coffee stout x2 terrapin - coffee oatmeal imperial stout blue point - toasted lager (for the ladies dad)

Those Brewdogs are pretty neat beers. I like the Macallan one more than the Arran.

rice beer! saw this in the cold section and got curious:

Koshihikari Echigo rice lager - surprisingly it tasted good- crisp and light with a fruity hint.

R to L:

Ommegang BPA (picked up another as I think I want to enjoy one solo and the other will be brought to this weeks gathering at my gf's parents)
The Bruery Mischief (same story as above)
Rouge Double Mocha Porter (was told very very good things from kevin)
Stone Cali-Belgique (so many on here raved about it...figured I'd give it a shot)
Brewdog Bashah (I've become a HUGE fan of almost everything they put out..had to give it a shot)
BrewDog Paradox Smokehead (I've read nothing but good things but I'm going to let this sit for a bit)
J.W. Lees Harvest Ale (Lagavulin Whisky Cask) (I shouldn't have to explain why I bought this)
DFH ApriHop (It's summer.....why not)
Péché Mortel (Imperial Stout Au Cafe) (The only one I had no clue what it was and I'm hoping it lives up to the reviews I'm reading now)

Then my regular williamsburge ale works and bells beers

What are the best online retailers for spirits and wines?
By the best, I meant those who charge No Sales Tax and have good prices.

You need to be more specific about what you are looking for.

Picked up a bottle of Ron Zacapa XO and a bottle of Lagavulin Distillers Edition (1993 / 2009).

Already opened the Zacapa. It's unbelievable good but not sure if it's worth the massive surcharge over the Ron Zacapa 23 (Duty free price 50 vs 95 EUR)

I don't think it is. The 23 is already otherworldly.

That Laga you bought ought to be incredible though. I have a couple of bottles, but I am still working on the 1991 edition.
