B.Son's Self-Destructing Cardigan

Gah, I'm so annoyed.

I wore a B. Son "Japanese jersey" cardigan today, a day after it arrived in the mail from Revolve. The day called for little more than sitting at a desk, walking around a bit, and perhaps some standing. I also slung a laptop bag over a shoulder at times, but as the day wore on, I discovered that all these things were too strenuous for B. Son's precious Japanese gauze.

The fabric near the sleeves is very loosely woven, so essentially anything on which I rest my wrists yanks threads from the sleeves and sends me searching for the nearest pair of scissors. Either that or my wrists begin to look like one of those piñatas with all the strands of cotton hanging off of them. The weave is luckily tighter on the rest of the garment, but strings are still beginning to pop out. To make things worse, the right side of the cardigan, where I had slung my laptop bag, has become slightly threadbare near the pockets, and I am fairly certain these areas will develop holes eventually. In short, this thing is self-destructing before my eyes.

I know the material is fine and soft, but this is no reason for a cardigan that retails for $240 to fall apart on the first 10 hours of wear. Is there a way I can return it to Revolve? Or maybe B. Son itself can help solve my issue? Or if nothing works, perhaps an SF member would like to wear the cardigan for another day before it becomes a lump of very, very expensive loose strands?

My experience with Revolve is that their customer service is absolutely top notch. If you contact them I don't anticpate you having any problems whatsoever with them taking care of the situation.

I've emailed them a few times during business hours and have generally received responses inside of 10 minutes.

Just out of curiosity, what e-mail address did you use, [email protected]?

I had an issue and when I tried e-mailing them, they never responded, twice. I had to call.

That's odd...yes, that's the address I used.

I don't understand why a person would email over calling for a problem like this. Call them up and have a conversation with someone about the problem. Much easier to explain and answer questions. Revolve is good about returns and have friendly (and sometimes sexy sounding) customer service reps.

It's still the weekend :-/
But as soon as Monday rolls around, I'll be having a possibly sexy conversation with Revolve about unraveling cardigans.
