There is a short shoe care/polishing/glace movie at J.M Weston's website: J.M Weston

Very nice... I like how the laces are put back on before the spit shine.

Help my failing eyes. At the outset of "cirage", the polisher pours a creamy liquid from a small plastic bottle. I don't think that the bottle contains water, but I can't discern (and didn't read) what the liquid is. Would any poster be so kind as to let me know what it is?

It looks to be a leather conditioner that he applies as the first step before the brush polish and then finally the spit shine. That's about 45-60 minutes of work condensed into 30 seconds. Nice result. Regards, CT

That is a leather cleaner/conditioner from Saphir. Excellent stuff made with milk and honey. I use it also on leather jackets and gloves. Actually, if you look, all the products used are branded Saphir, not the Weston labelled Saphirs.

Thank you, T4phage, it is very instructing. I use that product from saphir, it is an excellent polisher to use before applying wax. It is not showed the first phase: polish the shoe and removing stain with that cream. Interesting also the part that shows the making of the shoes: I see a goodyear welting and a "rapid" welting, but maybe I'm wrong.
