Eye Candy for fellow shoe aficionado's - Page 3

FYI, if you were less than 8-8.5D US, forget about sampling a pair of Vass at Louis Boston. I made my first visit to LB this past summer, and NOTHING was stocked in the smaller sizes. Quite unfortunate really. Andrew, Any chance that Wilkes is going to stock Vass in the future? I'm glad they offered the Classic line from Lobb, but someone needs to carry something that's a little "less" English.

I'll be checking Vass shoes out, right at the source. Later today, I'll be off to Budapest for a few days.
I'm envious. We'll be expecting a full report, bengal-stripe. Be sure to take notes.

They've agreed to look at my samples for next year. I'd love to have them carry the line, but it's going to be a tough sell. They carry a very large selection already, with no real gaps as far as styles go. They aren't carrying anything as well made as Vass, but I doubt that is going to help us - if they were to sell our shoes on that basis, it would mean detracting from their other offerings...

If you're feeling lucky, the Vass sample sale is now going on in the buy/sell section.

You can do it A Harris. Vass shoes are the best. Pour out your emotions to the buyer. Tell them how good the shoes really are. Change their thinking. lt's a tough sell but you [of all people] can do it. Let me know how it goes, [l will be interested].
