I second whacked's rec for C9. It's not bad. Starter also makes some Dri-Fit stuff that I like; both brands aren't fitted and I feel like it gives me a bit more movement. Whatever it is, it has to be sleeveless for me. I can't f'ing stand lifting with sleeves.

Actually, in my opinion, sleeve-less t-shirts are perfectly fine for the gym, preferably if you cut the sleeves off of an old shirt. I tend to think pre-made sleeve less shirts are kind of ... well, dorky is the only word that's coming to mind. I'm sorry if that hurts any feelings out there.

When I saw tank top, my initial mental picture was something like this. Cause this is what I wear to pump da iron.

Ah yes, my buddies and I call this pose "The Peacock."
What exercises are some of you all doing that a t-shirt may get caught in machines/bars?
Whatever you do, don't wear a singlet, sans shirt, to the gym.

If you are going to go sleeveless I prefer the sleeveless T, something of this variety.

You are just jealous because you are an overweight lazy drunken slob who won't change his habits in order to better himself...whereas I have the will and effort to improve myself. Also, if you notice that man is standing in a bar not a gym, but I guess its all the same when you are looking at life through Hennessy-colored glasses, no?

Please don't wear a tank top to the gym. All of the guys that I see do this have a build they shouldn't even be showing anyone...

Something is odd with your gym then. At my gym (and the other gym's I have seen in my area) the only people wearing oversized shirts are the obviously overweight people that are only there for a temporary stint before they give up and race to the closest McDonalds.

Well you'd rather see me in a oversized shirt than a form-fitting one, yes? We're doing you a favor!

The only people (both men and women) that I see wearing anything form-fitting at the gym are people who actually have the body / are slim enough to pull it off.
