A proper Manhattan is 2oz of whisky (bourbon, which is commonly at 90pf), and an oz of high proof wine. So yeah, you feel them. ~ Huntsman

Nothing beats a good old fashioned in my book. The only way you get a good one is when you make it at home.

No lemon in a Gimlet, just gin and Rose's Lime Juice.

A very, very dry beefeater martini, G&T, Jack and Coke, and of course, the Irish car bomb.

It is my favorite also. But, there are places in this world where you can get superb, superb Old Fashioneds. The Sidecar was my former favorite, but is now retired.

My favourite cocktail would be the sidecar. I've been playing around with proportions from various recipes from the internet and am currently using a 2-1-1 proportion of congac, cointreau, and lemon juice. So far I've only tried two types on congac with the sidecar with Remy Martin VSOP beating out Hennessy VSOP. I attribute that to the fact that Remy Martin only uses grapes from the Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne regions. Other then the sidecar I am also partial to a gin and tonic with tanqueray being my gin of choice. Mai Tai's and Zombies aren't too bad either.

Rani, don't hate me too much, but try it with a touch, perhaps 0.25 pt or fresh orange juice in there.
