Who makes their shoes? Also, how fitted are the shirts?

don't know about the shoes - but the shirts are big enough to make sails.
shirts are HUGE, even the "fitted" line. Shoes are stiff and uncomfortable (IMO)

But isn't goodyear welted, calf leather shoes for 107$ USD a good deal?
does anyone know how long their socks are? Knee high? calf?

I didn't either, but two people have bought it already.

I don't get it. So, even at half off, their items are still not worth it?

I have one of their shirts. It's pretty nice, but it is gigantic. I wouldn't pay even $20 for a shirt that didn't fit me anymore, though. Luckily I found this one for $4 looking brand new.

Personally, I think their stuff this season is ugly. I had one of their catalogs from a couple of years ago when they first started marketing in America. Those were great classic stuff with a little bit of newer edge to them. Now, their stuff looks just plain bad. Just look at some of their striped shirts, fugly..

J, How did you get your hands on a brand new Tywhitt shirt for only $4?

christian, I'd say at 50% off it might be worth it. Some of the shirts are big, I think they may have gotten better. I have one I got two years ago, white, that is as big as a Brooks Brothers shirt; but I got two shirts earlier this year that fit better - I am not a stick, though, and I don't mind BB shirts in the first place. I'm not sure the 50% off applies to the clearance stuff, but if it does and you're talking $25-$50 a shirt, I'd say it's worth it. It's no Jantzen, value and fit wise, but it doesn't claim to be, and you get the shirt in two weeks. I have a couple ties; they're alright, no better than Talbott-type ties. Their shoes, I think I read, are re-badged versions of the lower line of an English maker, maybe Loake? Don't hold me to that. Quality I'd put at about where Thos. Pink is now. Plastic buttons, double needle stitching. Some fabrics are nice, though.

Are the "fitted" shirts worth a shot, at 50% off - $47.50, i think? got about a 36 inch sleeve and 42-43 inch chest, 35 inch waist at 6' 1". what about the brown wingtips? my upper point is $150 right now for shoes, and i prefer to be around $100, so are any of them worth springing for? or should i just skip it, deal-wise?
