I have difficulty thinking of a more prolific blues artist. Muddy was the fucking man. What's your favorite song by Mr. Waters? I'm big on his take of "Caldonia."

Lucky man. He died 5 or 6 years before I was born, unfortunately...definitely near the top of my list of "Musicians I'd Like to Bring Back from the Grave."

I just loved the album he did with Johnny Winter called "Hard Again". That is one of my favorite electric blues albums of all time.

I am "revisiting" this album. So spectacular. Mannish Boy, Deep Down in Florida, and The Blues Had a Baby and They Named it Rock and Roll are solid gold.

Um, all of 'em.

"Hoochie Coochie Man," Rolling Stone," and "Got My Mojo Working" to name a few.

Caldonia, with Pinetop Perkins (still performing well into his 90s!!!) killing it on the keys. Muddy was a god. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zd0tUHHjCMU
