Update to classic Dale Carnegie book?

Anyone know of a modern version of Dale Carnegie's classic networking tome, "How to Win Friends and Influence People?"

Did you read it? I think it is an excellent book and I deliberately purchased an old edition - one that was printed during his life-time. After dealing with people for so many years, he clearly developed a keen understanding of people that is unmatched among books I've seen.

However, if you do run across any good books, be sure to post them.

Take a look at "How to Talk to Anyone" by Leil Lowndes. Not a recommendation, since I haven't read it, but take a look.
